NO ACCOUNT | CONTEXTUAL ADS | NO STUDY TRACKINGWhat stays on the device
GCSE Maxxing stores the learner's optional nickname, subject choices, study settings, answers, progress, coins, streaks, badges and earned themes in local app or browser storage. The app does not send this study record to us.
Advertising in the Android app
The Google Play build uses Google AdMob to show one banner below the app controls. GCSE Maxxing marks the audience as under the age of consent, caps advert content at Google's G rating and does not use the learner's answers, subjects, progress, nickname or rewards to select adverts. The build removes Android advertising ID permissions.
Google Mobile Ads may process the device's IP address for approximate location, app interactions with adverts, diagnostic information and device or app identifiers needed to deliver, secure and measure adverts. This processing is governed by Google's policies. If Google requires a privacy choice in the learner's region, it is shown before adverts are requested and can be reopened from Settings.
Remove Ads purchase
Remove Ads is a one-time Google Play purchase. Google processes the purchase and returns an entitlement to the app. GCSE Maxxing does not receive payment card details. Restore purchase checks that entitlement through Google Play.
What this release does not collect
- No account, email address or profile is required.
- No behavioural advertising, learner profiling or analytics code is included.
- No precise location, contacts, photos or microphone data is requested.
- No social features are included.
Hosting and official links
The web edition is delivered through Firebase Hosting, which processes ordinary network requests needed to serve the files. The web edition does not load the native advertising or purchase services. Opening an AQA or GOV.UK source link leaves GCSE Maxxing, and the destination site's privacy terms then apply.
Control and deletion
Learners can export their progress as a private JSON file from Settings. Reset all progress deletes GCSE Maxxing's local record. Removing the app or clearing the site's storage also removes local progress.
Operator and contact
GCSE Maxxing is operated by Ever After Group Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 17323269. Registered office: 144 Market Street, Dalton-in-Furness, England, LA15 8RQ.
